Questo sito è conforme agli standard web ed in particolare è codificato secondo lo standard XHTML 1.0 del lontano 26 gennaio 2000 (eccetto questa pagina di accesso che è in formato HTML 4.01). L'unico browser che ancora non supporta questo standard è Internet Explorer 8 (rilasciato il 19 marzo 2009) e versioni precedenti.

Nonostante sia un browser obsoleto, non conforme agli standard e generalmente tra i meno sicuri contro gli attacchi informatici, Internet Explorer è ancora molto usato. Pertanto ho deciso di rendere temporaneamente disponibile una versione del sito non conforme agli standard web che sia comunque visualizzabile con tale browser (IE8 riesce ad accedere ma non a visualizzare correttamente i menù del sito).
Al contrario, tentando di accedere al sito standard con Internet Explorer, il browser cercherà di scaricare la pagina e vi inviterà ad aprirla con un altro programma.

La risoluzione consigliata per lo schermo è di 1024x768 pixel anche se il sito è navigabile anche a risoluzioni inferiori.

Il browser raccomandato è Opera che supporta i widget ed è disponibile su tutte le piattaforme (Windows, Mac, Linux, telefoni cellulari...).
In alternativa si può utilizzare qualsiasi altro browser conforme agli standard web sebbene si perda la possibilità di utilizzo dei widget (consigliati Safari, per MAC e Windows, e Firefox per Linux).
